We spent the first half of the day walking through Belize City then hitched a ride on a water taxi to Caye Caulker, a beautiful island just off the coast. I think I saw more palm trees here than even back home in Florida. The little island just screamed tropical paradise with vendors selling fresh coconuts on every corner and people laying out everywhere baking in the sun. This was our fourth and final snorkel adventure and the water was clear enough to see fish but had a lot of seaweed that kept tangling in my hair. If you do ever visit Belize I suggest learning how to dive because the second largest coral reef sits not that far off the coast and I bet it’s 100% more beautiful than snorkeling 😉
