Wearing: Missguided romper, Report sandals, Quay sunnies, vintage purse, Bling Jewelry ring and necklace

The day started out a bit clouded and rainy as we set out through the streets of Roatan, but the further we walked the more the clouds dissipated to reveal blue skies and sunshine. We walked for quite a while and found some real gems including a couple pigs chilling by the sea. While admiring the cute pigs a young girl approached to try to sell us fresh coconuts. That’s how you know you’re in the right place.

We eventually got tired of walking and took a taxi to the beach. The driver was nice enough to take us through his awesome resort entrance to avoid the crowds. After a quick swim, we grabbed some food and enjoyed the view from the bar. At the far end of the beach was a rock ledge that played host to iguanas above water and tropical fish below. There was even a monkey climbing on tourists and I have to say it was pretty adorable even though I’m not a fan of monkeys. After some solid snorkel time we haggled with another taxi driver to take us back and that was the craziest ride I’ve ever been on. The whole trip he was basically driving on the other side of the road into oncoming traffic passing people. Somehow still safer than a carnival ride…
